On the other hand, the subject-specific regions with high landmark-ness are not in the category of good landmakrs. Instead, such subject’s own landmarks may contribute to individual identification. Based on medical expert’s advice, we have mainly located landmarks at the tips of bones and other convex structures, which are basically with anatomical labels. However, the landmark-ness map by this study showed us new potential landmarks along Appearance Similarity Flow for Quantification of Anatomical Landmark Uncertainty 21 the vertebral canal, which are not prominent shape.
