With the incorporation of parameter ρQP , same global parameter β can be used for different Bayesian reconstructions using the same phantom data. 8 to obtain images with best SNRs (signal to noise ratios) for the two different phantom data, respectively.

However, considering the complicate characteristics of objective image and the ineluctable noise effects, we can never use nonzero derivatives or zero derivatives to control the usage of QM prior and QP prior. In , a simple hybrid quadratic prior with identical weights for QM prior and QP prior was suggested to obtain a compromise of the two priors. However, by now, no efficient way for building of such a hybrid prior model, which is able to realize a selective and adaptive usage of QM prior and QP prior, has been reported.
